Qatari Minister of Energy warns all oil production may cease within next 5 days.

Projection is $150 - $200 a barrel in a week.

Jet fuel has doubled in price, from around $700 to $1528.

Such an event, if a soon to be reality, will send the world economy into depression. Inflation would skyrocket. Some national economies would collapse.

This would be awesome for the midterms.

Political analysts suggest this was a strategic nudge by Qatar to Trump to stop the war and go home.

So you want him to go home……just let the republic to pick back where it left off only sans 32 ships.

Right?

The only things Dems worry about are things that might happen. They never happen. Qatar will do what we tell them to do - we run things.

I find it hilarious how negative the people that lurk here are this week - it has been the most successful campaign in history - Americas like winning and after this is a huge success the gop will gain seats in both houses - not to mention with Elon involved in the midterms - let’s just say he will make sure the gop wins

Go ahead. The US is now the global leader in production and exports. Cut your nose off to spite your face.

As of this moment it’s still been less than one week since this started. I seem to remember Fox News saying the same thing with Iraq. Stop talking shite!

Do you remember what the media was saying about the Civil War on April 22, 1861?

Venezuela’s crude is much different than crude oil from other places. My wife could explain it to me (she’s in oil) but it’s a far more difficult refining process than say Texas, Canada, or Saudi Arabia oil.

Louisiana refineries are designed for heavy crude like Venezuela has.

No one who has two brain cells to rub together would even think about saying this until it's over.

Your wife must have forgotten to tell you our refineries on the gulf coast are set up to handle it.
