It’s rare, but it happens & there has hardly been a case unreported.
Myocarditis / clotting are more prevalent. Also highly reported.
Most people don’t realize how many of the scripts they’ve taken have black box warnings. There’s always some non-zero risk with medicine. On the other hand, covid raises stroke risk & messes with grey matter in your brain + has all the same side effects as the vaccine but at higher occurring rates.

Fair question. I was vaccinated and recommended it to some patients at the time, based on what was known. For me to call that a mistake now, I’d need to see a consistent signal that, on balance, the risks clearly outweighed the benefits across comparable groups - not just individual cases or retrospective takes. I’m open to updating if that kind of evidence shows up. I just haven’t seen it presented that way in threads like this.

That’s an interesting one. I’ve heard a few people here wrestle with that same tension, and I don’t think there’s an easy way to square it cleanly. Feels like a lot of this ends up being less about the vaccines themselves and more about which signals we trust when multiple signals don't line up.

Honestly, at this point, nothing.
But hold on, it's not what you think.
I've just read enough that to me (admittedly a layman) it was a wash.
No it didn't kill millions, but it didn't save millions either, and it did hurt thousands, probably millions.
I think when this is all over (many years from now when all the lawsuits are settled) it will be viewed as a push at best.

I appreciate that answer. It's more thoughtful than most people are willing to be in threads like this. And I get what you’re saying about it feeling like a wash from where you sit. The only thing I’d add is that that answer is kind of why I asked the question in the first place - once it gets to "nothing would change my mind" it gets hard for any new information to actually move the needle either way. I respect you laying out how you see it.
