So one of my family members has the TV on in the other room this AM. This time it is on CBS and whatever they call their garbage morning show. I’m exposed to a couple of stories(sometimes that’s what lies are called so that’s a good word for them). The first story is about poor ol’ Jackson, MS. I was half paying attention at first so they may have already gone there but it was clear they were working the race angle as to why Jackson is sans good drinking water and some utilities post the winter weather event a couple of weeks ago. Of course when I get drawn in and start fully listening I was shocked when they failed to mention who runs Jackson. That’s right! Why bother to mention the whole situation when you can exploit half of it?

So rolling onto the next story, in the same vein they go to the January 6th Capital event. They talk about the make up of those arrested this far. Why they had they ages by percentage and then mentioned how many were military, they found a Natty Guard member and a handful of former military (of course they don’t mention the vast majority not having been in the military or have any affiliation) then they go to what extremist groups they were in. Dutifully they mention a Proud Boy member or two and a couple others from other groups they deem as “right wing extremists”...their definition of course...but wait but wait those numbers are a small fraction of the total arrested thus far. Who are the others associated with? Surely these are others riled up by Trump with his speech right? Ran down to raise Hell based off Trump right? Well...what is it CBS? Next story...oh c’mon you mean to tell me that they couldn’t identify the others arrested so far OR they COULD but they are from leftist anarchist groups? Hmm! Guess we’ll never know if we relied on CBS. Starting to think this should be See, BS.

So let’s go to the next story, they now have an illegal immigration story. They are doing a piece about these poor parents who just want their immigrant kids to have a better life in the US and interviewed one Pops who was so eager to send his son to have a better life in the good ol’ USA! Ok, stop the tape...didn’t they just go on in the other story about all these evil and vile right wing extremist groups we have lurking in the shadows? frick me! Seriously? What is it CBS? Are we in the USA rife with all these right wing extremist groups or are we a welcoming country taking in the oppressed from Mexico and Central America because life is SO much better here according to Pops? Hey CBS...in both instances we are talking about the same country!

Holy mother of hot fricking messes Batman! Are these networks thinking their viewers are as stupid and mindless as they come off as thinking with their reporting? Maybe it is because I have a suspicious mind for anything they are purporting as news these days to catch what I did, but they certainly are not giving their viewers much credit for discernment or they would be embarrassed to present the news in the manner they did. This was just pathetic!
