So I got a little theory brewing. With the timing of Trumps visit to China, I feel like this is even more likely now. I really should've put the pieces together sooner.
I always thought the Americans would strike on the next Muslim holiday but it seemed to far away at the time (early April).
It is now a week and half away. WTI rollover happened last night. The Americans first attacks took place during Ramadan. Anybody that knows a thing or two about history knows the Americans love to plan Military Operations around holidays.
The next Muslim holiday is Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice.. Ironic) Hajj begins May 25, 2026, Day of Arafah is May 26, 2026 and Eid al-Adha is May 27, 2026.
That is the same week as Memorial Day (May 25, 2026) and you guessed it, markets are closed!
I don't see an attack happening this weekend. If it's going to happen, it'll be next weekend. Mark my words.

U.S. strikes in Baghdad reportedly killed multiple senior IRGC commanders, including a deputy overseeing operations in Iraq.
The strike hit a secondary IRGC command site in Al-Jadriya after a primary HQ was already destroyed.
Bodies have been transferred back into Iran. Retaliation likely.

There is one huge difference between Civilian Donald Trump and President Donald Trump.
Civilian Donald Trump made deals for himself, and without question, he made lots of good deals for himself. Those casinos of his that went bankrupt? He made out like a bandit on those "deals". The fraud that was Trump University? He made a fortune, even though he had to pay a $25 million fine for the fraud. On and on and on. If I deal went south, he'd declare bankruptcy and move to the next one, stiffing people along the way.
But President Donald Trump doesn't know how to make deals that benefit anyone else, and his only lens is does the deal make him look good/does it make him money?
Deciding to go to war with Iran isn't leveraging some building in Chicago and slapping his name on it for a licensing fee.
He doesn't care about the difference.
The rest of us sure as hell should.

If tweet fails to load, click here. How do you destroy one of the elements on the periodic table outside of detonating a nuke? Hope this isn't a bs reference to diluting the uranium, which Iran has offered to do a bunch of times and can be reversed.Posted on 5/25/26 at 4:53 pm to TroutGuy
Very interesting interview of an oil expert I respect

If tweet fails to load, click here. This guy thinks it does mean down-blending/diluting. Starting to get a bad feeling about this. This goes against Trump's specific promise to Netanyahu that he wouldn't accept a deal that didn't require the uranium to leave Iran. This post was edited on 5/25/26 at 5:15 pm
