People have zero, absolutely zero patience these days to let things play out. It amazes me.

We just observed new developments at the Pickaxe Mountain complex, just south of the Natanz Nuclear Complex. The two eastern tunnel portals have been partially blocked with dirt/rock material that would prevent ground vehicle access from entering those tunnel portals. This is not the result of a landslide, but a deliberate effort to prevent ground vehicle access into the portals. Dirt could have been easily taken from the nearby large spoil piles. No changes to the western tunnel portals can be seen. The Natanz nuclear complex hasn’t seen any new activity either.
This is a significant development as we’ve already seen Iran undertake efforts to harden and bury other parts of the complex (i.e. the tunnel portals to the a complex dating back to 2007). Those tunnels were buried under dirt and then covered with concrete, suggesting that something may have been moved inside to protect them. Why else go to such lengths to protect “abandoned” tunnel portals? Pickaxe Mt is deeply buried and would be a suitable place for Iran to move valuable equipment or materials to protect against US/Israeli airstrikes.
The dirt in front of the Eastern tunnel portals can be removed using heavy equipment, this just presents further obstacles to any sort of operation to enter this tunnel complex. We will be monitoring the Western tunnel portals for any changes. Check out @TheGoodISIS

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf told Iranians to brace for a “new phase of economic war” by accepting austerity, rising prices, and more sacrifice — while regime elites offer none of their own.
He urged “frugality” as the regime’s “most effective missile,” warned of possible military threats and terror attacks, and pushed a new Basij-backed “Empathetic Iran” campaign.
The message signals a regime preparing the public for prolonged hardship and instability, while shifting the burden of its failures onto ordinary Iranians.

I wonder if we will unfreeze the Iranian assets allowing them billions to spend.

I sure hope DJT has the wheels in motion to oust this regime in the event a deal is struck....difficult, if not impossible to voice the outcome to be a regime, but there is no alternative

Doubtful. Definitely not while the blockade is in place.

I believe what you’re seeing now is a War of Attrition or Slow Warfare. It’s grinding their economy to a halt. No resources left to effectively wage war.
They’re basically asking the citizens to dig in deeper because things are going to get a lot worse for them. They’re asking the ppl that they’ve tortured and murdered to help them now, how you think that’s fixing workout.
War of Attrition if you can gain this over your enemies it’s only a matter of time before they wither on the vine.

My favorite talking point about the previous agreements was that "Iran couldn't use the released money for military use" as if they had never heard of the concept that money is fungible.

WSJ editorial with more details on Trump's demands. I don't think we should give them any sanctions relief just for signing a piece of paper.
LINK
President Trump abruptly paused Project Freedom in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday night, citing progress in nuclear talks. Now the Iranians are reviewing a U.S. framework, which if accepted would lead to 30-day negotiations on a detailed agreement. From our discussions with senior officials, here’s where U.S. red lines stand in the talks:
The U.S. says it needs Iran’s attestation that it doesn’t seek nuclear weapons; the dismantlement of the Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan facilities; a ban on underground nuclear work; and on-demand inspections with penalties for violations. The U.S. seeks a 20-year moratorium on Iranian nuclear enrichment and demands the handover of all enriched nuclear material.
Iran would have to reopen Hormuz—gradually, as the U.S. relaxes its blockade, and then fully with the final deal. Most U.S. sanctions relief would be tied to Iran’s performance of the deal, not merely its signing, though some assets could be unfrozen to begin.
On Wednesday Mr. Trump wrote, “If they don’t agree, the bombing starts.” He said the sides are closing in on a deal, “but I felt that way before with them, so we’ll see what happens.” The President has the cards to reject a poor counteroffer, as the strikes in June set back Iran’s nuclear program and the U.S. blockade has the regime on an unforgiving clock.
