over on the outdoor board there is a fellow explaining how to get a Sea Tow discount code. Iran could sure use that discount.

Ghalibaf, who also led Iran’s team in the latest negotiating with Washington, described figures including Saeed Jalili, a member of Iran’s National Security Council, and hardline Iranian MP Amirhossein Sabeti as extremist militia-like actors who would destroy Iran.
Seems like Ghalibaf is basically asking for the US to target Sabeti and Jalili.
Interesting statement from him for sure.

The Iranian leadership is running out the clock until Trump is gone by feigning a desire to end the conflict.
Once Trump is gone, Iran's leadership will consolidate domestic political power and begin again to build military power to threaten its neighbors and to nuke the USA.
The USA has greatly degraded Iran's military power, but not completely destroyed it. The IRGC is still in charge. The Mullahs are still in charge. Iran's Islamic Regime is still in charge and their military and spiritual objectives remain the same right now.
I would advise that the USA uses its Unconventional Warfare capability inside Iran in order to destabilize the Regime so that it can be toppled by a few direct action strikes.

Ghalibaf is an regime thug that is just as dirty as anyone in the Iran power structure. He has used the conflict as an opportunity to get his rivals eliminated so he can rise to power. That is the only reason he is participating in any kind of diplomacy.
He wants to appear moderate so that his rivals get taken out and try to take over everything in the power vacuum that is created. I sincerely hope that if strikes resume, he is one of the people that gets what is coming to him along with Ahmad Vahidi. Those two are the real power players right now in Iran.

ICYMI, Reuters reports Pakistan is pushing President Trump to open the naval blockade so talks can move forward. According to the report, President Trump said he would consider it.
This has not been confirmed by the Trump administration.
Hard to see President Trump lifting the blockade right now. It is the only leverage that is clearly working, especially as pressure builds and IRGC salaries start drying up.
If you are going to open it, do it in 4 weeks, not now.
If this is true, then maybe a miracle is happening behind the scenes and the regime is actually ready to give up its nukes and other concessions.
We will see.

The group was planning terrorist operations in the Emirates aimed at destabilizing security.
The UAE does not play games

with an iron fist!

Absolutely. My thought was directed to that he is playing internal politics in the media. Such a statement coming out of Iran is very interesting and invites action.
Will be interesting to see how the parties respond to each other. Internal assassinations seem probable, lots of people looking to consolidate power.

US President Donald Trump warned that “lots of bombs” could follow if the current ceasefire with Iran expires, as diplomatic efforts intensify ahead of the deadline.
A US delegation is heading to Islamabad for talks, while Pakistan continues mediation efforts, reportedly urging easing of US naval restrictions and guarantees for safe shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian officials said participation in the next round of talks is still under consideration, with no final decision confirmed.
