Is this true?

I’d also submit that the actual number of mines in the strait are probably minuscule.
You can be logical at times. The number could be zero for all we know.
Something I read a week or so ago intimated to all of 12 mines. Now if true or not is another thing.

Yep. They're just good ole boys planning to mind their own business and be good neightbors. Or, more likely what JD Vance said; building up their conventional munitions inventory until nobody dared try to stop them from doing whatever they pleased, including building a nuclear arsenal that threatened the entire planet. In the hands or a radical terrorist sponsor state.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Worth a read. I wonder if they’ve advanced the C-UAS into theater and if it can be retrofitted in theater. Gonna be very useful.

Or it’s the non stop bombardment and missile strikes for 40 days straight to zero.

Douglas Murray just shattered the “failure” narrative with receipts after Bill Maher declared the Iran operation a disaster and called for the U.S. to “cut and run!”
MAHER: “We did it and it didn’t work.”
“Now what? Do we cut and run or do we stay the course?”
“I hope Donald Trump is the abandoner he’s always been.”
“We always cut and run!”
“We did it in Vietnam, we did it in Iraq, we did it to the Kurds, we did it in Afghanistan, we did it in Beirut.”
“That’s us. No lifeguard on duty.”
“If you get in with us, we are going to fck you, and that’s Donald Trump. He’s an ashole but he’s our a*shole.”
Murray pushed back with a blunt assessment of what he says actually happened on the ground:
MURRAY: “I disagree because I think once started, you have to finish this.”
“I don’t agree that it’s failed.”
“It’s been an incredibly successful operation in lots of ways.”
“Supreme leader dead, Iranian air force destroyed, nuclear sites attacked again.”
“The Navy of Iranian Revolutionary government at the bottom of the ocean.”
“These are not small things.”
“It’s not the case that the Iranian Revolutionary government has come out of this well.”
“I know that some people are wanting to say that after four to six weeks of war, this is some kind of loss for America.”
“It isn’t.”
“It’s an amazing strategic success but everyone wants to know what the out is.”

Has an intelligence assessment concluded on how many missile launchers Iran has left?
Missiles aren`t any good if you don`t have a way to launch them.
Get on the ball WSJ.

US intelligence indicates China is preparing to deliver air defense systems to Iran in the coming weeks, CNN reported on Saturday, citing sources familiar with the assessments.
The report said Beijing was preparing to transfer shoulder-fired air defense systems and was working to route shipments through third countries to conceal their origin.
China’s embassy in Washington denied the report, saying “China has never provided weapons to any party to the conflict” and calling the information “untrue.”

Much like previous negotiations before the start of hostilities, everything will be done via 3rd party.

If nothing else it will be easier to later track and cap the Iranians at the meeting.
We also might have some new guys seen there that need to be capped.
Ostalavista baby, see you after the meeting!

Sorry to board for being tardy with this reply. I spend much time on SEC Baseball and am playing catch up in the early mornings.
Anyway I wanted to comment on what David Limbaugh's friend said in the X post quote below. His friend Rod Martin said...
I agree with everything he says, and wanted to add....
The 2 week slow down is to allow for the following....
1) Arm Iranian citizens since the Kurds filtered our initial delivery.
2) Re-arm, Re-fuel, and rest our own troops.
3) Review, maybe share, avenues the IRGC will run once the fighting resumes, and it will resume.
4) We're seeing the infighting and drive-bys beginning now. Give it more time to fester and consolidate the remaining factions.
The way I see it, the IRGC is running out of places to hide in Iran. This is why they're desperate to keep Hezbollah viable in Lebanon. I think they anticipate running to Lebanon as the shite has hit the fan in Iran. Pissed off citizens may soon be armed and will be after that IRGC arse.
I think the US plan has been to bomb certain bridges and roads so as to allow only a few avenues of escape for all those Toyotas to drive away. The roads and bridges that are bombed are now kill zones. The avenues that remain open for travel will be preyed upon from the air.
The infighting of the internal groups will continue with reduced avenues of escape (Now youse can't leave). The pissed off Iranians will either kill or capture bad guys. Captured may face public execution.
This can not end with IRGC remaining in Iran or reconstituted in Lebanon, or anywhere else. IRGC has got to go, and I think the oppresses Iranians and President Trump know this.
One more thing for those that say a power vacuum will cause issues, SO WHAT. First thing is get rid of IRGC, we'll cross the next bridge when we get there. Anything is not necessarily better, but can't be worse than the current IRGC.
Probably just my wish casting however. And I can't figure out what part the Shahs son plays in this, or he shows up to help formation of new government after the dust settles.....

quote:
It should be completely obvious to anyone who is not intentionally not wanting to understand.
He is pitting the factions against each other with competing interests for money and power and safety.
And when one of them betrays the other, they will take care of the bad one.
If they don’t, then Trump will randomly target them again and blame them all as if they are one government. That will frustrate them greatly, causing them again to turn on each other because there is no longer any single central authority.
This is absolutely brilliant, but if you think it’s gonna mean peace, if you think the Strait is really going to be open, and if you think Iran has surrendered and decided to play nice, you are delusional.
If you think Trump wants to murder 90 million people you are beneath delusional: you are intentional.
