Does anyone think that Israel will be willing, long term, to allow Iran to collect tolls which allow them to earn $90 billion a year to build rockets and nukes? Iran is using a narrow mine-free corridor in their territorial waters to escort ships which have paid the toll. All Israel has to do is place its own mines in those waters, and suddenly Iran's oil and toll income goes down to zero. I fully expect them to do it at some point, probably using foreign made mines that allow them to deny having done it themselves.
Any Gulf state such as the UAE could do the same thing, but that would screw them as well since their oil needs to exit the Strait. So Israel seems much more likely.

Trump declaring victory and end of war - for the US. But it continues via Israel plus Saudi and the UAE to a degree, with lesser force and extended over time - without the US being so much under the spotlight.

Why does it matter if they were 1 day, 1, week, 1 month, 1 year away from achieving that goal. The attainment of a nuke needs to be done. So why not now?

No that’s all they need you to believe in order to follow Bibi as the pied piper…
But for me, I need an admin that is willing to assess the decision to start a war knowing that it’s much easier to avoid a war than to avoid the escalation trap.
Everything based on pros and cons, strengths vs weaknesses, cause and effect.

Israel cares about oil prices about 1/100th as much as they care about Iran not having a huge spigot of money to build rockets and nukes with which to destroy Israel.
