The Asaluyeh petrochemical complex is home to many different units and is quite compact. Sounds like Israel took out the utilities infrastructure which would be a smart way to take Iran’s production offline without destroying those larger plants. I’m not sure how interconnected the utilities are in the region, but imagine Israel knows what they’re doing

Iranian’s IRGC FM Araghchi:
“We do not want a ceasefire, not because of the war.”
“This time, this battle must be completed so that our enemies never even think of repeating these attacks and incursions again.”
“And I believe they have learned a good lesson so far.”
“Take this battle to the furthest extent necessary.”
What ‘lesson’ do you think he’s learned?

Tehran rejects any agreement for a temporary ceasefire to end the war with the U.S. and Israel, a senior Iranian official told Drop Site, saying that Iran would only accept an agreement that leads to a permanent end to the fighting. The official, who was not authorized to make public statements and spoke on condition of anonymity, said recent proposals for a temporary pause in exchange for resumption of full access to the Strait of Hormuz were “detached from the realities on the ground.”

Pretty telling that we’re running through the IRGC like a hot knife through butter but leaving the nation army guys relatively in-tact. I think there’s some holdout of hope that the national army will assist in a coup of the regime elements. We’ll see how long that lasts.

The national army versus Irgc.
Correct.
Correct.

There is no need for Iran to surrender now because they know that if they can hold out long enough, Trump will be out of power and they can settle the war on Iran's terms with US Democrats.
Then Trump and all of the military people who prosecuted his war can be investigated and prosecuted for War Crimes.
Iran and Dems should be working together on this common goal, seems to me - they both have the same objectives.

An actual war crime.
