No regime change or end to the Islamic Republic mullahs? We're about to 100% leave the Iranian people in the lurch.

US President Donald Trump said on Monday he does not consider Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to be a leader, as uncertainty surrounds his whereabouts.
“Khamenei’s son is unavailable. Nobody knows what happened to him,” Trump told reporters. “I don’t consider him really the leader.”
Trump said several Iranian leadership groups had been hit, adding that many senior figures were no longer in place.
“We have numerous leader groups. They’ve all been killed,” he said, while noting that some leaders remain.
He said the United States was engaging with individuals he described as “very representative of the country” who could take on leadership roles.
“We think we have people that are very representative of the country and will do a good job,” Trump said, adding that those figures were “very respected.”
Trump also pointed to what he described as a broader shift in Iran’s political structure.
“There’s automatically a regime change,” he said.

If tweet fails to load, click here. I'm worried about Nioh. They may have to put her on suicide watch soon. Although I fully understand that the Iranian people do not want the bombing to stop until every last IRGC member, every last mullah, every last Basiji is dead.
But I don't think that will happen.

Don’t see anything about this except denials from the Iranian side.
That’s correct. So it stands to reason we’re not talking to that IRGC
The question is should we believe the IRGC or our gov & the news orgs with their sources
The more I think about it, it wouldn’t surprise me if this is a feint by our admin to sow confusion & distrust of each other in the IRGC plus buy time for the marines on Tripoli

Great. We have a chance to throw the ring into the volcano but decided to keep it instead.

Yep it is going to be a bloodbath unfortunately. Just having a hard time seeing how this won't be.
There are well armed rebel factions in the Northwest of Iran and in the very Southeast part of Iran.

All the more reason to arm the baluchs in the southeast is that it would also piss off the pakistanis
Let the muslims fight

BREAKING: In his first major CENTCOM interview since the Iran war began, Admiral **Brad Cooper confirmed that Israel is actively helping defend the Gulf by engaging and destroying hostile drones and ballistic missiles directed at Arab countries. U.S. Central Command is coordinating with regional partners and Israel to intercept Iranian aerial threats aimed at civilian and military infrastructure across the Middle East.
Cooper characterized Iran’s recent targeting of civilian infrastructure as a sign of desperation and noted that U.S. operations continue to degrade Tehran’s ability to project power beyond its borders, while allied air defenses—including Israeli systems—play a key role in countering unmanned and ballistic threats to Gulf states.

BREAKING: STRIKE ON BASIJ HEADQUARTERS IN TEHRAN
Reports indicate Israeli strikes are targeting Basij infrastructure inside Tehran — including command posts and headquarters.
The Basij isn’t just another unit.
It’s the regime’s internal enforcement arm:
- Crushes protests
- Enforces control in the streets
- Operates checkpoints across the country
Recent operations have already hit multiple Basij sites and leadership, with over 10 positions struck in Tehran alone.
