I am very aware that helping the Iranians was not our primary motivation for doing this (although I do very much think Trump cares and wants to help them) but if we exit this without either
1. Total regime change
2. Or at the very least arming them and putting the rest of the fight in their hands
We are going to look like cynical assholes to everyone in the world, and they’d be correct in that analysis

Biggest takeaway is that Chinese weapons systems work about as well as any other Chinese made item you own.

We have shown twice now that Chinas surface to air and radar systems that both protected Maduro and were even more prevalent in Iran (assuming China isn’t lying when they say it’s their best and holding more back for themselves)
are playing way below us

The plan was to sneak attack Iran, not tell any of our allies, allow Iran to shut the Straits of Hormuz and then demand those allies we kept in the dark come re-open the Strait. When none of them are capable of doing that either by the way.

We only requested their use for follow-up stuff. We didn't notify Starmer until the assassination hit had begun.
