Ok so a story saying farmers are mad because fertilizer prices are rising.
We make 65% of the fertilizer we use here in the USA.
Of the 35% we import, 62% comes from Canada and Mexico.
20% comes from Europe, which is unaffected by the war in Iran.
15% comes from Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
So, we are talking about 15% of 35%.
So roughly 5% of our fertilizer supply chain is possibly in jeopardy. And we only have 8 months to work that out before the fall applications are ready for the 2027 crop.
What will we do?????
I am a farmer, you blowhard chode. This is just something I know way more about than you do. You're in over your head.

The Islamic Republic is now urging its supporters to become human shields.
After Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf called on regime supporters to fill the streets and not leave, a prominent regime eulogist is now repeating the same message.
Meysam Motiee, a well-known religious eulogist closely tied to Khamenei’s inner circle, appeared visibly pale and shaken tonight as he warned Basij forces that inspection checkpoints in Tehran are being targeted by Israeli and U.S. attacks.
He warned:
“The enemy has a serious plan. The streets must be taken over by us, the faithful forces.”

More likely Mossad had the head of Quds on the payroll.
And even then that’s worlds away from having sniper teams and SOF dudes popping in every now and then to kill some people
SOF operates behind enemy lines all of the time. There will likely some raids and probably unconventional warfare used. I think Trump is hoping the regime change happens organically like Venezuela's did. It's tougher for the population when their gun ownership is very limited. I hate to say it but if we really wanted to make the regime change happen then we will probably have to go in. The IRGC is smaller than our military, but they probably still have over 100,000 soldiers on the ground there.

We've got a huge mess on our hands. There's no victory in this war without heavy bombers and ground troops, and there's no support for that. You can't win a limited war against these people. They're not logical. They're willing to allow thousands, even millions, of their people to die before they surrender to us.
We likely know the locations of many these people firing on the tankers, but it could still take a long time to dislodge all of them. And then we have to deal with the environmental disaster in the Strait before traffic can resume.
