Damn
I wonder if this is to send a message to China. Find a way to call off the dogs or your oil supply is about to be compromised for a long time.

BREAKING:
First video of the U.S. using its new Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) in battle.
The video shows a HIMARS system in Bahrain firing the PrSM at targets in Iran across the Persian Gulf.
The weapon system is a next-generation surface-to-surface ballistic missile designed to replace the aging ATACMS.
It has range of 500+ km (compared to 300 km for HIMARS) with future versions planned for 1000 km.
The payload consists of a 200 lb (91 kg) high-explosive fragmentation unitary warhead

I'm not blaming you for bringing it here. I'm just pointing out that the reports of Mojtaba Khameini's death have been greatly exaggerated. It's a twitter wide issue and it would be helpful to see an indicator of which accounts are historically unreliable at the top of the tweet. They could even provide a link to flagged tweets from that account for things like fake or misdated videos, grossly false reports, etc. That would help all of us know which sources are crap.
I understand

Musk might need to start tagging accounts that repeatedly pass bad info. Not necessarily ban them, just put a warning at the top of the page that any unverified info from the account is suspect.
Not a bad idea
But could be slippery slope to censorship & ministry of truth

I think context you are missing is that Trump and Bibi have been telling the citizens to stay home and safe until we are finished, then they can rise up and take their country. They are telling them to be ready.

Yeah, I thought about that after my initial response. Maybe they could provide a link to a compilation of flagged tweets from that account (basically a link library). Let the account continue to issue tweets, and if users want to verify its reliability, they can easily research and decide for themselves if the account is reliable.

I dont buy it. Iran For Mnister makes this claim (desalination plant struck) but provides no photos, sure. We don't hit a desalination plant deliberately and seems unlikely such a key piece of infrastructure would be misidentified.
We all ought to be careful not to blindly amplify enemy propaganda.
