Less than 2.5 months into the year, Trump has:
1) Removed a thorn in our side from Venezuela;
2) Prevented a new thorn in our side in Greenland;
3) Removed a massive pain in our arse in Iran;
4) Secured a monopoly of control over the flow of 42% of China's oil supply;
5) Stolen the international shipping insurance industry from London;
6) Restored the global perception of America as a sleeping giant restrained only by its own self;
7) United Sunni Arab nation-states and Israel in a military confrontation against other Muslims;
8) Vindicated the policy of why Iran could never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon, forcing Europe to confront how self-destructive their international policy has been for decades;
9) Boxed China out of the world stage; and,
10) Forced upon Russia the imminent decision to swim with America or sink with China.
I don't know that there's ever been such a sweepingly powerful change in the winds of international order at so little a cost as what Trump has accomplished almost completely out of nowhere in 2026.

Tehran was not just another partner for Beijing; it was central to China's grand strategy.
China invested over $400 billion in long-term infrastructure and energy investments in Iran, purchased roughly 90% of Iran's oil exports, and Tehran's geographical location was key to Beijing's Belt and Road Initiative.
In addition, by backing militant proxies and sustaining regional instability, Tehran has kept the Middle East in constant crisis and the United States out of the Indo-Pacific.
Now, a weakened, internally strained Iran can no longer function as a reliable diversionary magnet for American attention, @milesyu10 writes in @PostOpinions.

I certainly hope that the Radical Fanatic Islamic Regime in Iran is learning a good lesson or two right now.

Since you are online (according to the green dot beside your username on your posts), and answering questions...Why did you skip mine?

We can bomb anywhere in the country without worrying about SAMs or enemy aircraft...What, exactly, would you call that if not "air superiority"?
Would love to hear your answer and have you, possibly, open my eyes to a new POV.

Probably a coincidence... Operation Epic Fury
OPEC Fury. The whole ME region is united against Iran for control of their oil future.

Not that guy but air superiority is a defined term with a set of requirements that the us engagement in Iran has not met. When we have the ability to land an unescorted c130 on the other side of their mountains it will be met
If you want to redefine it to mean what you said, then we’ve had uninterrupted air superiority over the entire world since the 80s. That’s ridiculous

We could land whatever we want in Iran. They have no air defense left.
They have been bombed 10,000+ times between the US and Israel, and zero planes shot down. How does that happen without having total command of the air?

Air superiority is defined by the US Department of Defense as the degree of dominance in the air battle that allows friendly land, sea, and air forces to conduct operations at a given time and place without prohibitive interference by opposing air forces.
What from the above is not met?

The U.S. just activated a weapons system that existed only in Pentagon PowerPoints until now: the “sensor-shooter” network.
Satellites spot a missile launcher and instantly beam coordinates to the nearest F-35 which fires without ever seeing the target.
It’s basically Call of Duty killstreaks but real, global, and unstoppable.
As Iran tries to move a launcher, U.S. satellites see it glowing like a matchstick from space, then boom...gone.
A entire pillar of Iran’s military power is evaporating in real time.
