It was just about 18 months ago that the US Navy seemed like it could not get out of its own way--rusty ships sailing into each other, shooting down friendly aircraft, overweight DEI admirals and a sense of a complete loss of mission focus.
Yet--today--the US Navy once again looks like the most lethal and efficient naval fighting force since the US fleet that won WWII.
Was the initial impression from 18 months ago wrong?
Or does great leadership from POTUS and SecWar really make that much of a difference?

BREAKING: Sen. John Fetterman just eviscerated the 53 House Democrats for voting against designating Iran as the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism.
"Probably part of the same list that REFUSED to condemn Hamas after 10-7!"
"So I mean, that's part of our party. And that 53, that's almost 25% of Democrats in the House that can't just call Iran as the world's biggest terrorism underwriter."
"That's, I mean, that's where our party's been heading now."
"I can't IMAGINE why you wouldn't just identify that what Iran is!"

Iranian woman in Australia tells her story about escaping the Islamic regime in Iran:
“No one is Muslim in Iran. After 47 years of Islamic regime, we all hate Islam.
Under Sharia, we can’t have dogs, women can’t sing, and I would be killed for dressing like this.
We are peaceful people. We just want normal lives and to live in peace with everyone.”
Free Iran from the Islamic regime!

This message from #Iran's regime's Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf saying that as long as U.S. bases exist in the region, countries will not see peace, is quite a different message from President Masoud Pezeshkian, apologizing to GCC countries and pledging not to attack neighboring countries, unless the Iranian regime is attacked by those countries. A lot of mixed messages, raising the prospect of factional infighting without a clear supreme leader at the top. I'd pay more attention to Ghalibaf, who has been liaising with the Armed Forces, than Pezeshkian who has never been a serious player in the military-security establishment.

How many times over the past 47 years has oil spiked because of Iran?
And now we are removing that unknown.
