I feel like we are being too tit-for-tat here. Iran is facing certain collapse with the blockade, but on track to hold out for another 2-3 months before that happens. We need to up the ante and start taking out Kharg infrastructure to accelerate that timeline.

Have the Persians become pals with the Hebrew State? Awfully quiet in that arena.

We have no interceptors left, so Trump is terrified to really kick shite off.

The U.S. warship successfully evaded the attempted Iranian attacks and continued to patrol regional waters. No American personnel were harmed.

You’ve had time to reflect on the asinine statements you made, and I sincerely hope you recognize how flawed they were. You need to approach this logically, objectively, and without letting emotion cloud your judgment.
I'm not. What sort of terms are we looking for? Do we let Iran have any kind of nuclear capability, peaceful or otherwise? Are we looking for regime change? Do we have a plan if Iran just keeps hanging on? What happens if the notoriously fickle Gulf States declare they've had enough of this and want a settlement at any cost? Which, I should add, they are inching closer to. We can't fight a war in the Gulf without their support.
We don't have answers or clear guidance on any of that. Even the nuclear issue has had conflicting answers from Trump himself on what the US will and will not accept. And if we ask for too much who is to say Iran will give in?
The experts said there was no way Iran could last longer than 5 months. Well, it's been 7. They still have roughly a third of their usual oil being exported. If we escalate attacks they will almost certainly strike US bases (our anti drone defenses are atrocious) and the Gulf States who are already whining about the cost of the conflict.
Trump campaigned on ending "Forever Wars" and it appears his strategy in Iran is now hope we can wait them out.

Brent crude is trading at over $100/barrel this morning.

We’re past the point of the IRGC agreeing that they won’t build a nuclear weapon.
Now it’s on to either making the IRGC unable to build a nuke or the IRGC being overthrown.
We haven’t seen bridge and power plant lunch hour yet so make your own assumptions.

The absolute gall of these people in the IRGC. Anything else we should give them? Foot rubs perhaps?

CENTCOM: "No U.S. Navy warship has been struck; all IRGC attempted attacks failed. Meanwhile, U.S. forces have successfully destroyed 10 Iranian tankers in just the last week."
"These vessels were part of a multibillion-dollar shadow network that funds the IRGC, and Iran cannot defend them."
US ships keep evading and hitting back hard. Just remember that the propaganda coming from the regime with sky-high inflation, incapable of paying the troops, and unable to control the Strait — is full of LIES!
