I'm guessing this means he will do something unpopular to end it so it has to wait till after midterms (i.e. boots on the ground, pulling out, something like that)

There is a TV show (will not name the show, IYKYK) where the US bores a tunnel under a strategic part of Iran and sets off a nuclear bomb underground to destroy their infrastructure. That TV show has the worlds richest man and also very large boring/drilling equipment.

I don’t think that’s what he meant. I think he meant Iran will have lost their leverage so they’ll deal.

Explosions being heard in southern Iran. Iranian sources say they are being struck but that has yet to be determined.

No one has taken responsibility last night for the mysterious explosions in several regions on the coast of Iran. Iranian side is quiet and we have not declared we struck them, which tells me it was probably one of the GCC's that flew a sortie in last night. Lately, when Kuwait or the UAE bomb Iran, they don't publicize it until well after it happened.
