Man, they’re playing offense and Trump is stuck. This is horrible.

The problem is that that Trump isn't even playing at all. He is still on the bus on the way to the stadium. He keeps trying to fight a war by keeping markets happy and that just guarantees eventual failure. While he is trying to ride every week out to the close of business, the IRGC is attacking ships, it's neighbors and having their proxies do the same.
At some point we have to take decisive action. If he doesn't want to, then take the cuffs off of Israel and let them finish the regime off.

The Houthis have claimed responsibility for targeting the Saudi oil tanker Daisy in the Gulf of Aden with a ballistic missile, alleging the vessel was struck and forced to reverse course, according to the group's military spokesman.
The reported location of the attack loosely coincides with the area of an earlier United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) advisory, in which the master of a tanker reported hearing a loud explosion in close proximity to the vessel. UKMTO stated that all crew members were safe and accounted for, with no reported damage or environmental pollution.

BREAKING: Iran rejects reports that the Oman-Iran agreement is final, adding that even if it is finalized, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is separate and contingent on the US implementing the following commitments, a source close to the negotiating team tells Fars:
1. Lifting its naval blockade
2. Lifting sanctions on Iranian oil, petrochemical products and gas exports
3. Releasing all of Iran's blocked funds
4. Ending the war in Lebanon
5. Accepting Iran's right to collect maritime fees on every ship
Iran states that once the US implements these commitments, the Strait of Hormuz will open under full Iranian sovereign control.
Iran adds the US violated the original Islamabad MOU, disrupting the established traffic flow in the Strait through military attacks, a naval blockade, and preventing access to Iran's blocked funds.

End it or come home, never to return ... that includes our assets in Europe
Leave the bloodlust where it began and has never abated

Is it better to play world politics and world police or invest that money in defenses in the US?
Could build up North and South America. From Hawaii to Iceland, make that our concern. Expel all European countries from any area in between.
Let the rest of the world fight over the "old" world. Let the US lead the "new" world.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Former President Hassan Rouhani admits that elements within the Islamic Republic want a wider, more destructive war to hasten the Mahdi's appearance.
Rouhani said some within the regime believe war must be escalated to hasten the Mahdi's appearance—a reflection of an apocalyptic strain of Mahdist ideology that views chaos and war as prerequisites for the Mahdi's return.
He also recalled a 2004 meeting with Ali Khamenei, who told him that an individual had proposed building a massive platform in Tehran for the Mahdi to deliver a speech upon his return, complete with a sound system powerful enough for the entire city to hear him.
The remarks provide a rare public acknowledgment that apocalyptic beliefs have influenced thinking within parts of the Islamic Republic's establishment.

Tehran presses Gulf allies to steer Trump back to diplomacy
Riyadh urged Trump to delay military action, pursue negotiations
Iran bets infrastructure threats can raise pressure without full-scale war
Aug 6 (Reuters) - Iran has made a concerted diplomatic push with Gulf states, warning them explicitly that Tehran will hit their oil, power and water plants unless they convince Donald Trump to end U.S. strikes on Iran and instead seek a negotiated end to the war.
The warning envisaged attacks on the energy facilities, oil fields, refineries, electricity grids, water infrastructure, transport networks and other strategic assets of Washington's closest Arab allies, according to a senior Iranian official.

We want the country that would commit war crimes to that degree to have a nuke? I can only imagine the leverage and terror they could use with that
I would drop a few MOABs where it hurts if it were me, personally.

People keep saying that about moabs. You can’t drop a Moab against an enemy with an active, serious air defense.

It takes a cargo plane to drop a moab. Military people correct me where I’m wrong

They won’t give up there nuclear weapon ambitions, nor can we allow them to control the straight when in possession of a nuclear weapon.
In my eyes I cannot see a world where we lets them dictate terms like this and control the straight. More strikes seem inevitable.

As far as I know, a MOAB is employed only from a C-130. They are carried on a special deployment platform and cradle. They use a chute system to extract it from the C-130 to begin deployment.

Ahmad Vahidi was publicly saying that they are pursuing a nuclear weapon non stop yesterday. There is no doubt they are not giving up their nuclear program.
The only ways to stop its development is:
A. Topple the regime, make sure a Pro-Western government is installed or..
B. Destroy all infrastructure they use for nuclear enrichment and keep an eye on it, and constantly monitor everything with various forms of espionage. You will also have to constantly use targeted assassinations on nuclear personnel to keep their brain trust for nuclear constantly under stress.
Option B will constantly keep you in conflict with Iran. Every time a site is hit they will retaliate via the SOH and attacks on Gulf Coast Countries.

I think you do A+B…
Did y’all know Khamenei has multiple million dollar properties in London?
The IRGC and all those goons need their money drain and distributed. All their kids living in the west need to be deported back to Iran.
This whole thing is a cluster, and it’s so hard to see a clean way out. America needs to find a way to win though. A way to win 50 years from now too.

How many soldiers do you think the US need for a land invasion vs a country that size with the terrains they got? It would be a bloodbath with no guarantees of victory. The logistic itself would be a nightmare.
