The rhetoric from Trump has also been that it will be up to the people to rise up and seize power at the right time which is a big gamble but we are rolling and have the rest of the world on it's heels for the moment

I watched a video earlier where a hijab morality enforcer women tried to bully some Iranians women on a train and the whole train turned on the regime thug and forced her off at the next stop.

Like I said, it's just a theory. I do believe that it would be a mistake to dismiss anything that happens in coming weeks as random or stupid knee-jerk responses. The regime knew this was coming just like everyone else. So did China and Russia and Europe. Plans were made and it would risky to assume those plans have already been fully activated and revealed.

That’s my point, unless a new government emerges with broad public support that dismantles the nuclear program and supports normal relations with the US & Israel, I don’t see anything changing. Iran has a deep bench of Islamic fundamentalists and other hardliners. If the IRGC and Basij militia remain committed to keeping the regime in power, I don’t see how we aren’t back in conflict with Iran in 5-10 years, if not sooner.
