TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed another round of strikes against Iran at 9 p.m. ET, July 20.
U.S. forces struck Iranian military command centers, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and air defense systems to degrade Iran's ability to continue attacking commercial vessels flowing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Commercial vessel transits through the vital international maritime corridor continue. Since early May, CENTCOM forces have helped facilitate the transit of approximately 900 commercial vessels and 450 million barrels of crude oil.
American forces remain postured and prepared to hold Iran accountable for unwarranted aggression toward civilian mariners seeking to freely and openly transit the strait.

Preposterous, the French military used the Horizon blue uniform even after numerous examples of it being ineffective in modern conflict, trench systems were inadequate at best, and got men slaughtered by the thousands being wedded to the notion of offensive at any cost. The Belgians and British saved France at Ypres in 1914. France has never recovered from WW1

Thanks for keeping thread updated. I wouldn’t see any of this info otherwise

If tweet fails to load, click here. A knockout blow that broke the back of the Revolutionary Guard
The B-52 bomber obliterated a missile field belonging to the Revolutionary Guard's Aerospace Base in the city of Tabriz
The military base has been wiped off the map

If Iranian troops are concentrating near the Iraq border, then you know what/where to target.

Why did we not take care of that place back in March? Why has it been allowed to exist until now?

We need some bigger blows in Tehran, and the IDF can help.
Blow the houthis off the map too.

Exactly. Or bombing nightly for a few hours a list of IRGC coastal targets that probably should have been taken out early on and weren’t,

So, Yemen apparently joined the chat? What a cluster.

i'm sure it has more do do with the US trying to keep this from expanding. having Israel sit it out, allows our Arab "allies" to placate their populace that is is only a Iran issue.
SA especially has a tenuous control over the people. they are always doing what then do to keep that power. they are terrified of an uprising, and some of the extreme groups withing SA hate Israel.

All of us here, including you, have practically zero information about why they do what they do when they do it. Without information, second guessing every detail of how US war plans are conceived and conducted is useless.
But here's the (also useless) answer to your question above. They didn't take care of that place back in March because, given the information they had back in March, they had other priorities that took precedence. As of last night, that target rose to the top of the priority list and it was eliminated.

Yeah, but I think we can all agree this wasn’t what we were expecting when we talk about “Making them pay.”
