Usually the regime itself will announce it so they can declare him a Martyr. Israel would also confirm if their spies are able give them a definitive yes.

Israel's Channel 12 reports

It's interesting that Channel 12's relationship with Netanyahu seems similar to CNN's relationship with Trump, adversarial at best. Recently I read that his wife has sued Channel 12 News, their parent company and a reporter, for defamation. I assume info from Israeli news media should be taken the same as from virtually every other media "news" source, with a large grain of salt and an assumption of biased reporting.

Israel's Channel 12 reports that Trump warned Netanyahu in a tense call not to strike Iran after Tehran launched missiles toward Israel, saying he did not want a new war and that Israel did not have a U.S. “green light” for escalation.

Yes, they should be totally transparent about their war plans so that we and the media will know exactly what is going to happen and when.

Iran won't find out.

As someone that has been a part of contract negotiations for over 20 years I can tell you I have seen plenty of "preliminary framework" type of set ups go up in flames when all parties are sitting at the table. There is nothing binding with them and sometimes the other party is acting in bad faith when signing them..

Salient point.

I’ll add that any agreement signed by the IRGC is not worth very much in reality.

That doesn’t make me a warmonger, but the time for talk seems like it has passed and once we stirred up the hornet’s nest there are only so many ways to finish this conflict.

you have to build constraints into the contract that support following the agreement. Such as building a large petrochemical site in one country, but having marketing/sales receivables located in another country. Can be done, but you have to plan for the middle eastern trader mentality up front.

Wake me up if this surpasses CENTCOM's "threshold" for retaliation.

Not yet, but there is now online chatter that internal communications with Motjaba have suddenly ceased. Vahidi was controlling all access to him and if he was taken out, that would explain the lack of communication with Motjaba. Many people, including regime insiders believed he was dead and Vahidi was using his name to wield power.

Two weeks!

quote:

President Trump, speaking on a tele-rally, says the United States can expect "total victory" over Iran in another two weeks. "You're really going to win it over the next two weeks when we declare total victory. It will be a total victory and it will happen very soon," Trump assured.

Donald Trump's Iran war timeline changes to another 2 weeks as public anger grows

To be fair, he didn't say which two weeks.
