I don't know why people keep giving this loon any time at all. The best thing to do is just completely ignore her and she will fade away. The majority of her own party doesn't take her seriously.

No, the best thing to do is keep her in the spotlight and paint her as a mainstream democrat.

If you want to be like them so much, then you're going to have to make America a whole lot whiter but I don't think you're going to go for that.

Why is that?

Because they work really hard generally speaking. I know that's counter to what you guys like to Peddle

Have you never heard of frozen dinners? Look at pretty much any frozen dinner and they are cheaper than McDonalds. Also, putting crap in a microwave for less than 5 minutes is insanely convienient.

Poor people do that too. It doesn't change anything that I said though. McDonald's makes most of their money off of poor people. The total point was to show that poor people contribute to the wealth of rich people every bit as much as the other way around if not more

I’m sorry but that just isn’t true. And I am not taking away anything from our poorest workers, but what bezos and jobs have done for our economy is much more valuable than what a janitor has done.

Simple economics, something you're not fond of

Where there's a need, a market will show up. Capitalism is awesome

Not always.

Example:
People are worried about rising ocean waters but we have water shortages on land. Its too expensive for capitalists but guess what would fix it? A program started using tax dollars.

They could contract out for parts and companies would design individual pieces. Eventually, as it got figured out and less expensive due to development and production, businesses would pop up.

See social programs and companies working to figure out problems and figure out which one needs to be used in which situation is the best idea. Simply throwing your hands up and saying the only free market can tackle problems is just ludicrous and a fantasy. Not to mention how many things are free market businesses have kept away from us that would have been useful knowledge for people's health and various other issues that they intentionally hid from the public.

I'm just playing Devil's Advocate but I'm definitely on to something there

We need all of those people though. You think McDonald's will be selling all that food or Walmart would be peddling all those goods without a labor force? And then some of the poorest people are the reason for their highest sales.

And those companies are also kept Alive by people with less. Bologna is not a meal tbh. Not even in college lol

Show me where McDonald's "asks" for anyone's money. Last I checked they make food and offer it to people in exchange for money.

And for people who have a hard time making it, after working for these companies, need a little extra help.

That's how free markets work. This is middle school level stuff man. How dense are you?

Then you've probably heard of advertising and marketing.

There's n need to throw up hands because economics explains how the markets meet the need.

Such as?

It's not advantageous to keep things away from the public.

Be specific.

Do you drive to work on a road? Did you ever have employees? Have you ever work just part of a team that solved problems and accomplished things together?

I don't really know you so I can't really be specific. All I know is that you want to go ride your horse to a house in the mountains and pretend like the rest of the world doesn't exist.

Government need not intervene. If and when someone can make money by desalination ofsea water, investors and innovators will be motivated to do so and will solve the problem.

Same with renewable energy technologies. There is absolutely no need for government intervention.

Forcing a non profitable market to exist is unhealthy. The government intervention is a deadweight loss. When the demand is high enough the supply side will fill the void and tax payers will not have pissed a bunch of money up a rope.
