So you're saying the poor are too stupid to eat any other food but McDonald's?

Interesting perspective you have there of your fellow man.

Show me where McDonald's "asks" for anyone's money. Last I checked they make food and offer it to people in exchange for money.

That's how free markets work. This is middle school level stuff man. How dense are you?

Good Lord you're stupid. McDonald's food is cheaper and more convenient than eating out anywhere else including buying things at the store.

ETA: Let me clue you in on something here baw. I was poor as frick while putting myself through college. I very, very quickly realized I could stretch my food budget much further cooking for myself instead of eating fast food. This wasn't my parents telling me this, this was me just looking at what I was spending.

I'm not special, and I more importantly I don't think my fellow man is too stupid to also realize this. Which means there are other factors at play to keep them eating McDonalds. Voluntarily I might add.

You're saying poor people value convenience over value?

Why is that?

That is entirely subjective.
Not unless the definitions of simple words is subjective, which of course liberals are in favor for but that's for another thread.

The only value money actually has is what we agreed upon.
No shite. You finally got something right.

quote:

If tomorrow 80% of the country decided that money wasn't worth anything then all of the money in the world wouldn't mean anything now would it?
Sure man, if the world agreed that "money" was worthless then the money would be worthless and we'd of course start trading goods and services for some other form of payment. Unless you're trying to suggest that it's possible that 80% of the world will wake up one day and decide that all of their labor and time and risk should just be given away out the goodness of their hearts.

quote:

And there are plenty of people that don't think that you did earn all of that money yourself. Some people think that maybe you earned it off the backs of others and raked it in like a greedy cancer cell

Those people are called idiots who aren't worth having a conversation with.

Don't waste your breath with ebbNWhine

She doesn't believe in accountability and promotes the plantation style welfare program for all the poor people.

She even promotes that others get on it to grow the slave base of the left.

But if you try to have a discussion about why the poor continue to stay down, she will deflect mightily on accountability being a top issue.

Have you never heard of frozen dinners? Look at pretty much any frozen dinner and they are cheaper than McDonalds. Also, putting crap in a microwave for less than 5 minutes is insanely convienient.

He's not going to answer it dude. He can't answer it because there is no fricking answer for it. It's like answering the question "Why is the rain dry?"
