Fewer deaths. Do you need it explained to you, it's a pretty simple chart tbh.

Guess you never got to the class on charts in 4th grade before mama pulled you out of the liberal school.

No, it's addressing both the cause and the effect.

You not knowing how to read a chart doesn't make an argument stupid.

says the poster that said a mini-14 and an AR-15 are different firearms because one has a wooden stock.

I'll also keep bringing this up just in case anyone considers taking you seriously...

There are fewer deaths now per 100K from firearms than there were 30 years ago.

Yet, you aren't satisfied.

So. "Fewer" clearly needs some definition. Otherwise, we'd already be done with the issue.

Who says we're just trying to stop mass shootings with stricter gun laws?
No one.

What a weird boundary for you to put on it.

Uuuuhh. You were the one that claimed the AR-15 specifically is a tool for mass shootings. Just following your claim—you now call “weird”.

You should check your scripts again

Has anyone posted a study that looks at gun violence vs socioeconomic status?

Fewer deaths by firearms. What's your definition of success for inaction on gun law?

When evaluating the gun issue, do you assign any value to a population being armed?

Again, I'm not advocating that someone burst into every house and grab your personal guns. Do you assign any value to lives being lost to gun violence, and if so, why a lesser value than someone owning a gun?

quote:

f we get new gun law, how will we know it worked to your satisfaction?

Fewer deaths. Fewer injuries would be a good secondary outcome, and better mental health care treatment a great tertiary one provided that's part of the package.

Apparently not very good at analysis - maybe shift some patience into that for about a week and you'll be on track again.

Better to have said "I don't need to have specifics since it was invented solely for military use"

Vertical axis, champ. Like I said, you're shitty at analysis.

Like, world-beating shitty. It would be sad if it weren't so funny sometimes.

You are still fixated on deaths by firearms. Still don't care about rape, robberies, aggravated assault, etc...

I assign more value to innocent victims than perpetrators of the crime, but your statistics value them both the same...

I didn't say they were different because of that, you said they were different because of that.

Also, perusing my local gun store's website the AR-15s models are listed between $1400-1500, and the mini-14 around $900. If you think they're identical, clearly you should talk to gun store operators.

the strawman loaded question combo. Not easy to pull off.
