On this same date Obama and Trump had the exact same job approval numbers prior to the election. 50% approve and 49% disapprove. And Obama won handily. Looks good for MAGA.

I think Trump's approval is pretty high, but there are other dynamics that are going to be different. I don't think voter motivation was very high for Romney, and Biden may have a group more motivated to go to the polls due to OMB TDS.

There are so many more factors this time around. For the regular people out there who do not really focus on politics, Obama was far more polished and likeable. Hell, I am as libertarian as it gets and I'd probably have a beer with Obama before Trump if it was just about their personalities.

Team Romney dropped the ball on their GOTV effort, Orca.

Not sure if he would have beaten Obama but he sure underperformed because the app was crashed most of Election Day.

Some people think that was a Denial Of Service attack by Obama or sabotage by the developers. I personally think it was a case of them not load testing it worth a shite before you had millions of people hitting it at once.

Being that Trump doesn't drink, would you have a diet coke with him?

I finally got a call from a pollster while visiting my parents' house.

They now have a 30something year old single very liberal black woman, who loved RBG, who is on favor of Trunp replacing her before the election, intends to vote for Trump and is very satisfied with the economy!

Yea. Everyone loves a Debbie Downer who thinks the US is in economic competitive decline, thinks you should listen to a pajama boy when it comes to insurance, won’t shut up about climate destruction while he sits in his power hungry coastal mansion, etc etc..

Those are the folks that are just great to hang out with.

Where a vest to cover your back in case he tries to stick a knife in it.

Obama is a smooth liar. That is the extent of his "personality".

Please elaborate on the personalities you would enjoy drinking a beer with Obama over?

The difference is Trump would sit down and have a drink with you while Obama wouldn't.

This.

For all his many character flaws, Trump seems to legitimately enjoy being around people, irregardless of their race/religion/socioeconomic status.

I get the exact opposite vibe from Obama.
