That's down the line. It's a long standing tradition where you present the National Portrait to your predecessor. It takes at least 3 years to make the official portraits for the White House. He's not going to like that Trump is going to present, but he'll go anyway.

Look at Obama's
- His left foot looks like a club, his shoe is coming out like behind his pants
- His hands are comically massive
- The perspective is all off, the chair is angled to canvas left, and yet Obama is sitting squarely facing the viewer. It seems as if he is floating in front of the chair and not actually sitting in it.
- The depth is all off as well. . . if we are to believe the Ivy is a "background" like a wall behind the chair, which appears so due to no variation in lighting between the leaves of ivy. . . then you have Ivy overlapping his legs, the chair, and Obama himself. . .
I'm not a fan of Obama and I understand that this is just a painting. It would be nice to at least have a nice portrait of a US President and not some hip garbage like this.
The artist couldn't even get the depth of the canvas down, how was he allowed to do this job?

Naturally his hands are large. Thats how we compare POTUS’s.
