Well, as a studied appreciator of fine Art...I cringed. The background booms the Subject. Oh well. I trust somebody will post the pic; I'm busy...and un-inclined to do so.

The painting of Michelle does not look anything like her.
At least the painting of Obama looks like him but it is a very un-presidential portrait. Obama isn't even wearing a tie.

Both portraits are very strange. Obama with the green wall/bush in the background and Michelle is basically white in hers.

I knew the son of the guy who did Reagan's and both Bush's portraits. It really costs the government almost nothing for this, since artists will do Presidential portraits just for the notoriety and they can charge far higher prices once you do a Presidential or Royal painting.
That said, the Obamas portraits look weird as frick.
