Obama-Appointed Judge Rules Federal Law Can’t Stop Local Officials from Blocking ICE

I can't understand why this topic hasn't made its way to SCOTUS. This issue was settled way back.... Federal law trumps(no pun intended) state, local, or city laws. Sanctuary states/cities need to dealt with!

An Obama-appointed federal judge in Rochester, New York just handed the open-borders Left another win, tossing the Trump administration’s lawsuit against the City of Rochester’s sanctuary policies and slamming the door on the case with prejudice.

Pretty sure we all have been taught about the Civil War...... it's not ok for states to disregard federal laws and regard states laws as above federal law.
Why is this being allowed to happen???
Our federal government and judicial system is an absolute failure.
What makes it hard to digest, is that there are more of "us" (hard working, tax paying, red blooded and blue collared folks) than of those who wish to destroy this nation.

Gateway Pundit overstates what is happening here, but there is a relatively easy way to help the feds in this matter. Congress can give municipal and state employees a private right of action under 8 U.S.C. § 1373. That way cities and states cannot discipline employees for communicating with feds. now "helping" feds would probably go to far and violate the 10th Amendment. But at least you can get some help from solid citizens who are employees of sanctuary cities and states.

It's funny. WE tried that in MO against Biden's ATF. Found unconstitutional.
But sanctuary states against ICE? Hmmmm.

the Second Amendment Preservation Act – arguing it interferes with the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, which states that federal laws take precedence over state laws.
The state law imposes penalties – up to $50,000 – for assisting with the enforcement of federal laws that Missouri’s General Assembly believes may be unconstitutional, including those requiring the registration of certain dangerous weapons and others that require firearms dealers to keep records.
The statute does, however, allow state agencies to assist with enforcement of federal laws that have state analogues, such as those involving felony crimes.
A federal judge in the state blocked the law in March, siding with the Biden administration. An appeals court declined to put that ruling on hold, prompting Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey to turn to the Supreme Court.

The goal is to filibuster until GEOTUS is near end of term. He gets to implement Fed rule for maybe a month and the dems overturn everything after the next cycle

When judges make mistakes or intentionally don’t follow the law like this they should get a demerit. Two demerits and you are removed from judgeship permanently.
What do you think?

Correct me if I am wrong but I think SCOTUS already ruled on this. Why would ICE even allow local officials to stop them? If local officials try to stop them then just arrest them. If they resist then taze them. If that doesn't work, shoot them. In this situation local officials should be treated no different than private citizens would be if they obstructed law enforcement.
