NYT: Should Biden Run in 2024? Democratic Whispers of ‘No’ Start to Rise.

quote:
Midway through the 2022 primary season, many Democratic lawmakers and party officials are venting their frustrations with President Biden’s struggle to advance the bulk of his agenda, doubting his ability to rescue the party from a predicted midterm trouncing and increasingly viewing him as an anchor that should be cut loose in 2024.
As the challenges facing the nation mount and fatigued base voters show low enthusiasm, Democrats in union meetings, the back rooms of Capitol Hill and party gatherings from coast to coast are quietly worrying about Mr. Biden’s leadership, his age and his capability to take the fight to former President Donald J. Trump a second time.
quote:
Interviews with nearly 50 Democratic officials, from county leaders to members of Congress, as well as with disappointed voters who backed Mr. Biden in 2020, reveal a party alarmed about Republicans’ rising strength and extraordinarily pessimistic about an immediate path forward.
quote:
But the repeated failures of his administration to pass big-ticket legislation on signature Democratic issues, as well as his halting efforts to use the bully pulpit of the White House to move public opinion, have left the president with sagging approval ratings and a party that, as much as anything, seems to feel sorry for him.
quote:
Shelia Huggins, a lawyer from Durham, N.C., who is a member of the Democratic National Committee, put it more bluntly.
“Democrats need fresh, bold leadership for the 2024 presidential race,” she said. “That can’t be Biden.”

The fact that is even an idea shows how bad the Democrats are right now

Please. They ran the Turnip because everyone else was garbage. The rest of their ‘leadership’ are Marxist fricks. They have nothing to offer except pushing this country further down a road of subservience to their Chinese overlords.

More garbage on tap for ‘24. Who are they possibly going to run? Gay Mayor
Pete?! Best bet I can think of off hand and he’ll get slaughtered. Kamala is more than laughable, might as well stick with Brandon.

Anyone that knowingly votes democrat from this point forward should be executed for treason as far as I am concerned.

Nominating Clinton in ‘16 hurt them bigly. Had they nominated Biden, he probably would have beaten DT, and they wouldn’t have to be concerned about Biden or DT in ‘24.

They’re just now starting. Really?
Wonder what did it?
Illegal immigration
Massive inflation
Negative GDP
$5 gas
Attempted murder of a Supreme Court justice
I’d really love to know.
Maybe it’s the fact that his son is a felon, crack head
Or that he can’t speak a coherent sentence

The choices only get worse from there. Kamala is hilldawg bad with the off putting laugh. I can’t think of a single other candidate with broad appeal. The field on the dem side last go round was deeply flawed which resulted in grandpa getting the nod. The dems still hate Bernie and he’s older than old as frick now. All signs point to a desantis presidency.

Biden first ran for prez in 1988 - he's wanted to be POTUS for 30 or 40 years and people think he's going to step aside especially when the rest of the entire Dem field blows just as much arse as Biden?
Biden ain't gonna willingly just step aside.

They are going to run Newsom. He is very liberal and he is condescending and arrogant. Name recognition and will have plenty of money.
He is exactly what they are looking for.

Nationally he will sink and has so much baggage that I hope he runs. California is a cesspool.

when Biden was thinking of running in 2016 it was pre announced that he would run one term.
the only reason he is saying he is in in 2024 is so he is not a lameduck loser times two.
he isn't running in 24. that lady in the article wanting bold & new is probably pushing for Roy Cooper. there is no way the dems accept a white NC man. And he is no more moderate then Biden.
he is like Kasich.
they will want AOC & she will be 35 by 24.

Whomever the Dems run has a strong chance of “winning.”

Imagine a AOC presidency. Oh good lord.

They will never run someone less Marxist than him ever again
They are out in the open about what they want. If the Good Morning America women fall for the BS they see every morning, they will keep winning
