If we own our own land strategically around Greenland, and get access to mineral deposits that’s just about as good as complete ownership. The people getting screwed are the Greenlanders. Denmark will get a payday, but sounds like the locals want be getting lump sum payments.

He could have had all of this without destroying relations with Europe. All of this could exist under the existing agreement, he got nothing new from acting like a spoiled child in front of an international audience. MAGA will try and spin this as a 4D chess move that he wanted all along. He failed to acquire Greenland and now they look foolish and have to spin the status quo as a win.

Don't forget what Trump said, we're going to be in Greenland forever

Now Trump needs to get the Brits inline, the Brits are making preparations to handover Diego Garcia to Mauritius. Diego Garcia is where the US keeps heavy bombers and other military equipment and it's strategically located in the Indian Ocean

Can we build them on some mineral concentrations? I mean a lot of excavation and site prep is necessary so might as well have it pay for itself

The word sovereignty means it's our land. Not sure if that is the current case. I guess in theory they could kick us out unless we have sovereignty. Not sure about the rare earths.

This is the difference. The current agreement allows for military expansion after consultation. This gives the US land they can exploit as they see fit. Big difference

MAGA has created a reality where he’s just never wrong

If he says a thing and does it, art of the deal

If he says a thing and doesn’t do it, art of the deal + 4d chess

If he says a thing and it’s just wrong, no he didn’t + TDS

If he says a thing and it’s dumb as frick, he’s just doing the weave + liberal media coverage + skyscreamer TDS

There’s basically no outcome in any scenario that the diehard sycophants won’t twist in their minds as total victory

Europe hates us. They’re always going to, until the next time they need us to save them again.

Even if everything you said is true, which it’s not, He’s still a million times better than the alternative.
