Just look at this thread. Many posters don’t believe what the Times is reporting even though their sources are sworn dispositions.

Oh I know. Definition of echo chamber.

It's always funny to watch them reject literal reality for the messaging they've been spoon-fed, while, in the most extreme form of irony, parroting the force-fed messaging wrapped in an "I'm n independent thinker" package.

Great way to start my Friday off with a chuckle.

The recipe to cheat in 2024 is easy now. Just find a few weak spots in Detroit, Philly, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Vegas to pump in some "mail-ins" and it's over.
Always been the case. Democrats had EXCELLENT modeling in 2012 that let them identify about 35 districts to flood with advo and GOTV. That's why Romney lost.

Yeah I mean the targeting isn't new, for sure.

What this thread has certainly shown is that many people have walked back what their definition of "cheating" is, compared to Spring 2021.

I mean shite, Trump is even taking my advice from 2020 about ballot harvesting. 3 years too late, bubba.

This is just me talking here, but to me it’s not as much whether I believe it, it’s that I don’t give a shite. Why should anyone care about this? It’s media. It’s media personalities. You take it for what it is and carry on with your daily routine. I’m unsure what the big deal is supposed to be.

Yep. You can't mention FOX or Tucker in this place without multiple "I stopped watching Fox/Tucker after the election because they didn't cover the fraud!".

So the texts aren’t real?
Well hippie, if you follow the Times, you know they are probably Russian propaganda. Right?

/s

The texts are what they are.
The selective edits, and selective interpretation of them (which is what you're referencing) is something entirely different.

He's since started covering it.

But, more importantly, he clearly wasn't honest, on air, about how batshit crazy he thought the theories were.

How do you think THAT reaction would have been?

Yeah. I should have clarified, I don't think accurately modeling and targeting is "fraud". However, if you have data that good, it makes cheating easy. You don't need "widespread fraud" to change the election outcome.

You don't need to edit/interpret this:

quote:

“That whole narrative that Sidney was pushing. I did not believe it for one second.”

To understand the message.

Yes, exactly. And not just Tucker. The texts from the executives and editors also thought the Fox hosts pushing it were FOS but exercised little push-back.

Is this worse than CNN pushing every leftist false narrative?

I think they were making a business decision not to alienate the base believers who were threatening to jump ship to OANN and Newsmax. They were trying to walk the line.

Which CNN stories do you think are comparable?

Desantis is a racist for one.

He was terrible during Covid is another.

Basically any story about a conservative because they will always twist the truth and always go negative.

Not as batshit crazy as the belief 81 million voters actually cast ballots for Biden

Tucker never believed the Dominion BS. He even invited Sidney Powell on her show to talk about it. He even gave her his entire show to discuss the evidence. She then complained that him inviting her on was harassment.

She never had anything. Lin Wood never had anything. Trump's team didn't win a single court case aimed at overturning the results, let alone the results from one state. It was all a grift. Tucker knew it and called Powell out on it.
