It’s so obvious what this was. And it worked. Change the narrative, reignite the base by making it seem plausible that Obama would be arrested. Buy time for Epstein fight… come on now people. You know it’s true.

It's now working for the whole of MAGA. But I wonder though. Has this administration deftly fomented outrage on two bullshite scandals to distract from something bigger and uglier, that might be en route?
It's fair to wonder. Wag the dog type political deflection is very real and it works. Especially on the collective MAGA mind. They're very susceptible to this sort of thing.

All I know is the MAGA/Trump world was focused pretty hard on Epstein for years, his hand selected AG did a publicity stunt to signal releasing the files, then they suddenly backtracked and tried to pretend like there was nothing the public need be told, then Trump proclaims that they will release information, but of a a very limited scope, and now they’re trotting out all sorts of chaotic BS , which looks like a pathetic distraction attempt. Also, if reporting is to be believed Trump’s got FBI analysts combing through the files to flag all mentions of him. It all looks like shady shite to me, and further suggests that Trump participated in some of Epstein’s crimes.
