Why do some Americans hate the NRA?
It's not as if they kill babies...or sell their body parts...
And it's not like they buy those baby parts and used them in food...
Sure, they get cash from weapon manufacturers, and wealthy doners, but it's not like they get a taxpayer money without granting a product in return.
What is there to be so pissy about...?
They also champion an ACTUAL SPECIFIC RIGHT...which many confuse with everything.

The nra has done somethings that many gun owners don’t agree with. For instance like the position they took on bump stocks. Also, they call you A LOT and send lots of junk mail.

I am a Life Member, NRA has never called me or sent me junk mail. Beyond my Membership information, about once a quarter I receive and offer to enter a Gun raffle of some sort for a minimum of $10/ticket.
I have a couple insurance policies that automatic draft, never any mail associated with these.
I believe you, I just wonder why so different an experience

I can tell you I would get calls from my area code and it was a soliciting agency for the NRA. Sometimes once a week. I got one this week and I finally just called and got my number removed from their list.
Well since you are a life member they know you don’t have to pay yearly dues. The calls were always to extend my membership by 5 years or something like that.
