Because, unlike CBS, CNN, NBC, NYT, SF Chronicle, on and on and on, I will be forced to work at the point of a government gun additional time today to pay for NPR to push a political agenda that I am opposed to.

I don’t give a frick if this thread was about worshiping anything. But that’s what this boils down to with you cultists. Worshiping idiots. And my point still stands. Your Trump cuckery is getting the best of you.

This reply is the perfect example why the left is viewed as uninformed and low iq, with no real thought once you get past their bumper sticker slogans. Total low iq lightweight and mentally damaged

That poster just provided a Grade-A example of “whatever it takes because Trump”.

He/She should take their early morning L, actually read the piece as others already suggested, and maybe try to learn a little something today (if capable of actual learning).

He just wrote NPR is a bunch of corrupt journalist and cannot give a fair interpretation of the news.

There was never more than an ultra thin veneer of “professionalism” covering a seething mass of arrogant leftist activists hired to push propaganda.

And that facade was only to sell the messaging, not because they ever had any interest in objectively covering domestic politics.

Keep in mind two things:

1) Posters like that are unaccountable and cannot be shamed. It won't read the article, but remember, you are in a cult.

2) Those exact same posters were falling all over themselves before Obama was elected telling everyone that the media was fair and balanced. When Journolist was exposed, they doubled down on the lie.

Fast forward to now....

Like anything else with Progressives, they play the long game. They know they are lying now, but the ends justify the means.

I read this but see Reagan’s term.

NPR was been one sided since back then if not before.

Read the article he admits there was bias before but they still what tried to walk some line but when Trump won the entire org policy became to take Trump down and don’t hurt Biden

It was the same with every single major news outlet in this country. It was a concerted effort by news media to take down a sitting President, and they happily lapped up every scrap of idiocy fed to them by government sources who were of the same bent.

Remember the Beast story? It was ludicrous on its face, but they ran with it.

Both impeachments were fueled by sketchy info fed to them by the likes of Schiff and other scum on Capitol Hill.

Even with this admission, there is still no self-reflection or questioning of their methods and motives. They have chosen sides and they are hell-bent on destroying Trump even if it means destroying the country at the same time.

I am a conservative but listen to NPR every day to and from work...well, technically GPB but a majority of their content is provided by NPR.

They do not even attempt to hide the fact that they are anti-conservative. It is actually amazing how overt they are with trying to shite on Trump and all things conservative. But they do kick it up a notch for Trump.

The whole essay is a really good read. It's basically saying everything any skeptic observed about NPR's change in reporting over the last decade to be true. I listened to NPR every day on my commute to / from work from about 2009 - 2016. A lot of people here always said that NPR was very left leaning, even back in 2010. While they did lean left some back then, it felt much more middle of the road when compared to any other legacy news outlet. It was easier to wade through the bullshite then and I felt I was getting mostly objective journalism. It was clear by 2016 that things were changing. That's probably about the time I stopped listening. And that coincides with what this editor describes as a major shift from journalism to activism there.

It's very disappointing what has happend to NPR.
