And be honest. When you hear anyone say the Masters, you think of slave masters in the South. There’s nothing else, nothing special. You don’t think of someone mastering the game of golf. When has anyone mastered golf?
Who: Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods
Where: Pebble Beach Golf Links
When: June 15-18, 2000
What: 100th United States Open
This is a fight that I doubt the mob will win, Augusta National has frick you money and clout; and has proven time and time again that they do things their way.

For the last 20 years, when someone said The Masters, most people probably thought of a black guy owning a bunch of white dues. If hear that makes you think of slave owners at this point, you're too fricked in the head to be helped, and certainly to be listened to.

Serves golf right for going full on BLM dick sucking during the broadcast on Sunday.

Not sure what your point is but this isn’t really true.
The point is that the golf club is built where slaves may have been housed. It is probably the most prestigious in the world. It has black members.
The Masters is just the name of the tournament there. So it’s a bit of a leap to go from the golf course itself to the name of the tournament as being racist. You can change the name of the tournament (which again has a black reigning champ), but that doesn’t do anything about the course itself. This is just merging a set of facts together to fabricate racism.

The private Club is August National....not The Masters.
The Masters is a PGA tournament..
quote:
According to Bloomberg, the Masters is owned by Augusta National, Inc. (dba Masters Golf Tournament) — a private company that was founded in 1932 and operates as a golf club and conducts golf tournaments.
In addition to that, the copyright statement on the Masters website specifies that “all textual, illustrative, video and audio information and other data” is the exclusive property of Augusta National, Inc.
Who owns The Masters?

Jim Furyk when he shot that 58.

Obviously written by someone that’s never watched a Sunday at Augusta.

The masters could decouple from the PGA Tour and have the masters as a non-tour event. They would still get every player they want.

I guess I am thinking that the name of the tournament is not controlled by the private club itself.... yes...I am probably wrong.
The Masters is a PGA tournament that is hosted and run by Augusta National country club and its members. The name is owned by Augusta National. The PGA will do whatever Augusta National says regarding their tournament.

While we are at it.
Don't y'all think its time to bulldoze places like Auschwitz, Buchenwald, and Dachau?
Posted on 6/23/20 at 12:09 pm to MeatCleaverWeaver
So any land where slaves were housed must remain vacant and unused in perpetuity?

The Masters is a PGA tournament..
Augusta National owns The Masters. The PGA has no control over The Masters. They can control the rules of golf for their tournaments, but Augusta National controls the tournament. PGA basically just affiliates with the tournament and counts it as a tour event.
Same reason why they were able to just put the tournament on by themselves back during the feminist garbage.

Doesn't PGA also set rules for their sanctioned tournaments?
I get USGA sets the standard rules for all golf in the US, but I thought PGA was able to set rules for their tournaments.
