Nothing says "attack on democracy" like making legislators enact their constituents' will

They know it won't pass so they are doing what they always do.

Yes and "it" can apply to a number of things.
The direct representatives of citizens being scared of doing their job for political reasons related to re-election is as close to democracy as you'll get in this world.

These people are idiots. I’m surprised they have enough innate intelligence to breathe

If it doesn't go full on 100% exactly as they want it it becomes an "attack on democracy". I'm curious what their definition of democracy is.

Lets be honest. Democrats have no legit policies now. Every now and then they'll release some extreme legislation that they know has no chance of passing. Most of their terms are spent virtue signaling and berating nondemocrats.
Republicans are the same way. Trump had to light a fire under their asses just to get a temporary tax reform.
They get elected, they immediately frick over their constituents and treat their terms like a vacation.

Without taking a month off of work to comb through your 400k posts, this might be your best post of them all. Well done

Usually the word "our" is in there.
It's THEIR DEM-ocracy. They hate when their democracy is attacked.

Me too, especially considering how these rulings are pro-democracy by putting power back in legislators' hands.
What is "democratic" about unelected career bureaucrats enacting laws? Or appointed judges creating laws and rights out of thin air?

it is just admitting defeat in a way. Everyone knows congress is full of spineless lifer politicians that want nothing more than to keep their job.
Congress' apathy toward their job has aloud bureaucrats and presidents via EOs to basically run the country while senators go on fox or Cnn to play to their base

What's this about?
The Dobbs case and WV v. EPA. Both basically re-instituted the power of legislators instead of unelected officials (bureaucrats and federal judges), but the common response from Leftists is "MUH DEMOCRACY".
It would be some form of irony if it wasn't so idiotic and transparent.

Ah. Thanks.
Sounds about right

As usual, Democrats and progressives would rather rule in a 3rd world country (which they are quickly turning the US into BTW) rather than compete for ideas and policies in the greatest country on earth.

They liked having unelected people do their dirty work.
Now that its nut cutting time we will see how they react.

Schumer melting down in a press release about being given more power is hilarious.
