Non-Democrats, ultimately.

The problem is, if I'm right, me being right (aka, DEMs winning the House in 2024) will be dismissed by some conspiracy theory (like voter fraud). That's why my arguments are so limited with Patriots.

If it's really about spending, then why not discuss the chances of this actually changing any spending practices.

Thats not what we are doing right now?
Or is no celebration allowed because of hurt feelings?

So you are suggesting this was the plan all along? Then why didn't they jump right to it?

We don't have any way of knowing if Johnson was the conservative play right from the jump, but if you look at just how many RINO yahoos have been outed in the process, I'd say this has not been without its benefits.

They look really bad to moderates with major elections in about 12 months.

Voter attention span is so short this will be a distant memory unless it continues. And with all the other shite going on in the country/world, I don't think people really care much anyway.

Will be interesting to see what the chaos caucus does next month when there IS another CR.

Why would there need to be? If the Dems want some of their programs paid for they'll have to put their name on whether to send money to Ukraine or their constituents. As well with the GOPe. They'll have to explain their reasoning instead of just saying, "what's another billion?"

The House is going to fund aid to Ukraine and Israel, and the House is going to pass a CR by the end of the year.

Of course this will continue.

You are just throwing shite at the wall. I bet less than 2% of this country's population can name the speaker of the house. No one gives a shite, and the ones that do will see this as a positive move.

Because there will not be a budget and the 12 separate bill appropriations fantasy isn’t going to even sniff the Senate floor.

The leadership drama was made acute almost solely because McCarthy allowed the most recent CR to pass.

Maybe you should

You were never happy about this. I'm shocked you would think its bad for the people who have not even found out about this yet. Like you are the deemer of all that the moderates will believe about the new SotH. Can we let some time pass.

Perhaps you are right in that the msm would have been nicer to us if KM was still in.

Nope. Just splitting the same spending over multiple bills. NO ONE in congress wants any meaningful cuts to spending, because voters don’t want it.

From what I heard, he voted YES on the very first but NO on every subsequent one.
