Leverage to keep the USA from assassinating their leader? Seems smart to me.
If they launched a nuke it would go straight up and right back down where it came from.

Most people over the age of 12 would.

If you lived in N. Korea, you too would want nukes.

Yeah, I think their missile guidance and distance are severely lacking. I have no faith that their rockets that can reach Alaska, would reach Alaska.

There's never been any debate about why aggressive authoritarian regimes would want nuclear weapons. I'm sure they'd like aircraft carriers and space lasers too. The question is should they be allowed to have nuclear weapons. For Iran, that answer has always been a resounding no, until now. Now for some reason there seems to be a groundswell of support from some quarters that it's okay because they'll be responsible with their nukes.

Everyone should want nuclear weapons. Especially smaller nations who dont have the industrial might to keep up with the US or China.

If Iran had nukes, we would not have done Israels bidding.

Were they just that bad at making nuclear weapons of was it bullshite?

They've been acquiring enriched uranium and storing it. Meanwhile, they've built up their military force, with help from China, until the day arrives when they're too strong to stop. And then they'll have a nice quantity of material to make and test as many weapons as they desire in a relatively short time frame. That's why they won't negotiate giving up their uranium or allow monitoring.

In these circumstances, there is no difference.

Just depends on who you ally yourself with.

To that point though, more nations with nukes is always more risk.

Yes. We Americans are most certainly better off if the country that likes to shout "Death to America" has nuclear weapons.

Yep, it’s about defending themselves from regime change that the western globalists want.

NK doesn’t have oil and isn’t a threat to Israel so they have nothing to worry about

Or they could just not do anything that would make the US need to take out there leader.
