You are being offered either COMIRNATY (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) or the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine
Either/or implies two. Aka would indicate it is the same. This is just legal haggling, but legally they are different products.

FDA has authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, which is not an FDA-approved vaccine.
Those are the FDA's words on September 22, 2021 not mine.
Can anyone fricking read?
This same formulation bull shite has nothing to do with approval.

So if the government mandates are limited to only COMIRNATY, are you ok with the mandates?

They are legally different vaccines.
Cominarty is for ages 16+.
Pfizer is for ages 12+.
I’d they were the same, they wouldn’t make this distinction.

Mandates are wrong regardless so I’m not making that argument. The only argument I’m making is that the Pfizer bionet vax, the only vax currently available from Pfizer in the US, is not fda approved. Which it clearly isn’t.

The fda is apparently so feckless they require an army of internet toads to tell us what the REALLY mean.

No.
The point is to undermine the current basis for the mandates. Corporations are using "approval" as their basis. Undermine that then the basis for their mandate collapses. Then they have to move on to another basis. Then anti-mandate people such as me will attack that basis.
Get it?

This is the ballsiest type of fake news: give the reader the source document and tell them the opposite of what it says. The exploitation of confirmation bias is one of the biggest threats to the republic.

The distinction is the boosters and 12+ are still completely under the EUA while data comes in. The FDA approved the formulation for 16+, 2 doses.
This is pretty clear on the August 23 and September 21 FDA press releases.

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine has been known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and will now be marketed as Comirnaty (koe-mir’-na-tee), for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older. The vaccine also continues to be available under emergency use authorization (EUA), including for individuals 12 through 15 years of age and for the administration of a third dose in certain immunocompromised individuals.
FDA website
I swear trying to get y'all to read primary sources be like:

The eua version uses one system for lawsuits against the vax, and comirnaty will use another.
THAT is the difference.
But as mentioned, we're never going to comply with these unconstitutional mandates.

Everyone is missing the bigger point. Currently there are no vaccines for Covid19 available that are omegaman66 approved. Don't give a frick what corrupt institutions approve.

Every single thing the FDA has released on the subject has mentioned that Comirnaty is the Pfizer vaccine.
It is mind blowing to me that y’all gloss over the legal distinctions in order to fight this strawman.
Nobody who is paying attention says that the formulation is different.
Y’all are saying “it’s the same formulation, so it’s the same vaccine.” That is a fact, from a certain perspective, but it does not account for the entirety of the situation.

I bet you think this sentence means FDA approved for Pfizer-BioNTech.

That's all that should matter.

The intent here is what matters. They basically intended to create the illusion that the vaccine has FDA approval, when it really doesn’t.

The FDA is trying to appease the executive branch to sell the mandate based on "approval" and at the same time keep their quality vaccine approval protocols intact.
They have done everything possible to say Pfizer-BioNTech is approved without actually saying it is FDA approved.
