But then you questioned my questioning. So then what are you interested in? Should I be flattered?

Except that the facts don't point to this being affirmative action. Thanks for reading through the thread, though.

I would be looking for a different company if I knew my company was that superficial to hire anyone based solely on race

I know. He told me over beers that the Hr rep told him that he couldn't hire a calcasian male and it had to be an African American male or female.

Said it's always been that way for our company. He said he's seen a black executive get internally investigated for stealing money from the company and nothing happen to him. Said if you're black you're untouchable at our company for fear of being sued

FYI, it's a fortune 10 company

I have a hard time believing that. What company would be afraid to fire ANYBODY with concrete evidence that person was stealing? That's a slam dunk shite-canning.

I'm not getting into it but yes it's true. I've seen slides at high level meetings about quotas they have to meet.

That's all I'm gonna say but it's a big part of my company. All you have to do is look around

Of course it's true. It happens all the time, especially in well known companies who don't want negative national (or international) exposure for being "intolerant".
