Nixon was very, very well read in what we call " classical antiquity"- ancient Rome and Greece.

The sad thing is our govt since about the mid 90s has done several things worse than watergate. The problem is the people no longer care and hold the president to a high standard
I do dislike Nixon for opening up trade with China. That had dire consequences that destroyed manufacturing here and built a communist behemoth

Now I know why I have always been EXTREMELY fond of POTUS Nixon. Nixon resigned because he did not want to put the country through the divisiveness of an impeachment. He loved the USA.
