I think they feel the decision would somehow help their bottom line. Or, perhaps they don't really care about their bottom line, being the behemoth they are in their industry. Either way, good for them. I won't be spending money on Nike, nor anyone in my family, but I don't think it'd make much of a difference.
I guess its no longer a company that's out to make money, and instead, its a political and social organization, out to change the world.
