So is Massie wrong? Calling out GOPe and Trump for continuously funding CR and Omnibus bills?

If you were a Congressman, would you vote to keep funding the shitshow?

Of course he isn’t wrong. He’s just been declared part of the out group.

I like Massie, but I don't see why he went after Nick, unless Nick took the first shot.

Nick has done good work, but he should have just stuck to doing the exposes and not try to be an influencer darling. It hurts his credibility as a journalist.

He’s chasing dollars like the rest of them.

Good work isn’t free but the line is blurred these days.

ETA: I despise X but I looked. It appears that Massie started this e-fight. Seems stupid to do to me as well.

No, for criticizing Nick for not attacking the Trump admin. Nick is an “on the ground” journalist uncovering fraud on the streets. It’s just a fricking retarded angle for Massie to take.

The MAGA brigade wants to call him out when he is the least of the GOP issues. They whine and complain about Congress and hate nearly everything Congress does because it goes against common sense and fiscal responsibility, yet hate on the one guy that opposed it.

Remember when the GOP said we don't have time to codify the DOGE cuts because we need to pass a CR immediately? They funded Somali daycares and learing centers when DOGE would have caught it and erased it.

So far as I can tell he tried to push conservative answers to issues that were stopped by people this board would describe as RINOs. If what he did for the past 13 years wasn't enough, why did year 14 mark the difference? Why not year 5 or 10?

I don't think he is going after Nick. He is just using him to get his point across

The message here is the easiest way to fight fraud is not to fund it, which Johnson/Thune/Trump did.

The previous 13 years he was a paragon of True Conservativism on this board. What changed?

I was a huge Massie fan until I realized he voted for a C R under Biden but always voted no under Trump. Sounds like he just wanted to be a fly in the ointment for Trump .

So he should be on Nick’s side for exposing it.

Your admiration for supporting those who fight so hard against Trump is admirable after you saved Utah by voting for Trump. It makes tons of sense

Nope. Never said that.

Again, ban bet.

If you can link where I said I was going to save Utah by voting for Trump.

That’s a made up fairy tale that either you or STD created.

If you link it I will self ban for the rest of the year.

If you don’t, you disappear for the rest of the year.

Deal?

Who am I kidding? You’ll never back up your words.
