Did you even read your link? Tying a record high temp going back to 2009 is not 150 years ago.
That's like me saying "I shot a 90 at golf on Jan. 1. Best score I've had all year."

I wasn't saying that this particular winter in a vacuum is proof of global warming.

you people realize that part of global warming is just more volatile seasons in general right?

BS, thats just your justification to say "extreme weather" is caused by man made global warming

I'm skeptical of both sides of this argument as they're both being backed by big money and constantly trumping up shite. One side displays a purposefully disproportionate method and has no credibility and the other side doesn't seem to match to models well and i'd question how much we know about the earths climate altogether and what drives it. I'd also like to know the ideal temp and what makes the scenario.

Those documents, maps, and drawings by explorers showing 250yrs of steady glacier retreat are fake. They must be.
Right.
You've been to Glacier Bay, if I remember correctly. When George Vancouver sailed past, the area where the lodge is locate was under ice. When John Muir came in the mid 1800's, it had retreated 40-50 miles or more. Now it's around 90 miles and fairly stable.

Yep, lots of wishful thinking on both sides.

Denying that humans can do anything to stop climate change is perfectly fine and most without an agenda would agree with it.
Denying climate change altogether is indicative of ignorance or insanity.

What mountain of evidence that man has affected climate??
How can you argue against global warming when you liberals just make it whatever you want it to be?

Over time, weather volatility is NOT volatility. Volatility is big changes in very short periods of time...like this winter.
WV is an artificial construct made up by warmers like everything else they make up when their predictions since 1990 constantly prove to be wrong. And their models constantly prove to be wrong.

Climate changes... over thousands of years. It's natural. Always has happened. Always will happen. Man has nothing to do with it and there are no catastrophic results. Weather has always caused floods, famine, drought, hurricanes, etc. That's not 'change'...that's normal.

No one here is denying that the climate changes throughout history.

Well, there ARE catastrophic results but they are the same catastrophic results that have always occurred.
A new ice age would certainly qualify as catastrophic to modern society, for example. About a third of the current land area populated by humans would become completely inhospitable and hundreds of millions would freeze and starve to death.
Likewise, if the temperatures were to reach the levels they were during the early cambrian period the majority of earth's modern agriculture would cease and most major cities would suffer prolonged or permanent blackouts.
