No watch for me. I’ve found other things for entertainment.

In. Don’t have a problem with anyone choosing not to watch as long as they don’t constantly bring up that they are not watching or pretend like they had no idea it was happening or whatever else some people expend energy on that no one cares about.

Most people will enjoy watching, some will enjoy not watching. The point is that everyone is happy with their own decision.

I understand the feelings of the players and the problems of society. I don't agree with all the BLM, protest or rioting at all.
I just love watching football. i'm not going to deny myself the pleasure of watching football because i don't agree with the politics of those playing or broadcasting the games.

Sorry, I'm not understanding what you're saying here. Essentially what I'm asking is whether or not you even care enough about the "controversy" to have it sway your opinion here.

So, for me...I've always been happy to separate my politics from those of actors or entertainers. In the past, those political differences, while vast at times, were just differences in tax policy, or foreign interventions, etc. I was able to allow those things to pass in order to enjoy some entertainment, even though I knew that I'd be supporting people with whom I disagreed.

But now, it's gone way too far...for me. When LSU lit up Tiger Stadium in the high school colors of George Floyd, a criminal with ZERO ties to LSU, and when they threw they lot in with BLM, an organization I've been familiar with for several years, I was done. They had, in my opinion, gone far beyond some trivial political disagreements into full blown anti-American behavior that was attempting to rewrite history and demonize a huge section of people in this country for immutable characteristics. So when I came to that conclusion it was easy to walk away. From my perspective, I'm not denying myself anything, because what they've turned it into is not what I fell in love with and really want to watch.

So that's all I'm asking. If it doesn't rise to that level for you and others then it make sense that you could look past it and watch. Like I said above, I dislike Alec Baldwin's politics but I loved him on 30 Rock for instance. But if it bothers you as much as it does me and you STILL keep watching, that's what I wouldn't really understand.

I'll be at my kid's football game. When I get home I'll turn it on. If I'm looking at BLM shite on the field, or on jersy's, or the announcers are talking about BLM shite, I'm checking out. Same with college football when it starts.

Oh you’re gonna see a BLM themed broadcast so don’t bother turning the BS on my brother.

Out, been for three years now and don't miss it one bit. For the first time since 1975 I have not followed the Astros after the MLB/BLM bullshite they started. I won't support communism that these fools are pushing, although they don't even know it and they're just being used.
