The only exception has been the Great Clarence Thomas.
But Tim Scott, Michael Steele, Winsome Sears, and many others side with the dems far too often once they get higher office. Yes, some whites do this as well but I notice the percentage is higher with this group.
I hope I am wrong as Florida needs to remain based.

Not completely up to speed on FL politics and I appreciate the elaboration. I'm familiar with Donalds though. I was lukewarm on him for a bit but he has grown on me. I think he'd make an excellent Governor.

I often wonder if having a dirty Dem Gov truly affects (in large part that is) a right of center baw in a blue state. Most Mayors of metro sized cities are Democrat. Other than mismanagement of government, life is pretty normal.
I say this as somewhat biased because I’ve had a GOP since I was born. So not apples to apples with other states.
