Newt Gingrich: Texas offers a blueprint for a red wave election in November

Looks like all those polls are real showing surging Black and Hispanic approval for President Trump!
November 2018 will be even sweeter than November 2016!
"This week, Texas Republicans won a special election for a state Senate seat in a district along the Mexican border. Every Republican campaign in the country should study this race carefully.
You may not have read about this GOP victory, because the liberal national media is not exactly excited to report that Republicans reclaimed a seat they had not held in 139 years. The liberal media is especially shy about reporting on a Republican victory in a district that Hillary Clinton carried by nearly 12 points in the 2016 presidential election.
From the left’s standpoint, this victory is even more frightening because the district is 73 percent African-American and Hispanic.
Furthermore, at a time when people are touting gigantic Democratic voter turnout and lagging Republican participation, this special election runoff had twice as many voters as the last Texas state Senate special election runoff in February 2015.
In fact, the turnout for this race went up from 26,207 in the first round of the election to 44,487 in the runoff, according to Sam Taylor with the Texas Secretary of State’s Office. The Republican candidate received 23,576 votes to the Democrat’s 20,911."

Good news indeed. Given the natural and intellectual (minus the delusional) resources of this Nation, there is no reason not to capitalize and prosper on the coming high-tech wave. The stealth, Leftist takeover of Academia is essentially the cause of our current troubles; that will have to be addressed, asap.

Newt is a smart fricker.

Oh Lord, Now Y'all are citing a Special Election with unique and unusual nuances to convince yourselves what's gonna happen In November is not gonna happen.
We shall see. Given Gingrich's spectacular implosion in the late 1990's, it will be interesting to see if he's right.

I had no idea that ingesting sperm causes a complete lack of self awareness. Weird.

This is just rich coming from you.
Are you people completely lacking in self-awareness?

Republican support is being underestimated, just as it was in 2016
Remember when huge turnouts were a sure sign that Trump and Republicans were sunk?
Well, we got huge turnouts for the last election and we all know how that turned out.
Leftists and their sycophants in the media are having a circle jerk and congratulating themselves for the upcoming "blue wave" prematurely
I have been saying that it won't happen for a while, this foolishness surrounding SCOTUS and the fallacious accusations against a decent man make a blue wave even less likely; and it looks like minority voters are starting to leave the plantation
70 plus percent minority district
First republican since reconstruction
The late-night and early morning melts on election night and the next morning will be must see TV

Only to be disappointed.

The OTP (Outside The Perimeter) Cobb County trash is what sealed it for Handel. Congrats on winning by 5% though. Real impressive for such a traditional Republican district.

I am an staunch conservative, live in South Texas, and this is bullshite.
First of all, this is a Mexican district. It will go D as soon as a normal election occurs. Second, Texas is being over run by urban liberals. Ted Cruz will be lucky to win his race against Beto.
Texas is a microcosm of the neo Marxist movement in the unban areas. Our state will be dark blue in twenty years simply due to urbanization.
The red movement is occurring in the Midwest. Blue collar workers are the future of the conservative movement. We will desperately need Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania to counteract Texas becoming a Democratic stronghold.

1st, this is a win for Republican redrawing of districts. TX-19 shrank and seceded a lot of voters to TX-20, mostly border counties around El Paso.
2nd, this special election came about because the democrat holding the seat was found guilty, and then held the seat for another 4 months. This is going to squish turnout
3rd, TYFYS Roland Gutierrez. Without you there is probably no runoff.

Legal Hispanic immigrants/Hispanic citizens probably like Trump. They did it the right way and aren’t enslaved to the left’s dependency.
Isn’t something like 50% of the border patrol Hispanic?
