Just thinking about this the other day. I have a grandmother who came from a dirt poor farm built her family with my grandfather into a nice life. They took risks and had faith in God when she dies will leave each family member a chunk of change. If she’s paid taxes on it, why should I? Also, the idea only rich people leave money to rich kids is ludicrous!

Same thing as they want to happen again.
Economic collapse - all marxist ideologies depend on economic chaos for their breeding ground.

*Employment*, for beneficial contributions which deliver tangible results....or just giving slothful, irresponsible and many times immoral, people money to buy bling and play mind games? Hell, responsible and loving parents would never do that to their own children. Good children at that, not those who are psychologically problematic due to traumatic and loveless childhood.
Trump should begin a Program even above that in The Great Depression Era; PAY people very well...to WORK...in creating Parks, Roads, and all manner of spirit lifting infrastructure. We'll pay either way.

All articles like this do, is reenforce the stereotype that blacks are inferior and need all kinds of special incentives and give- aways simply to achieve the same level that all other races achieve without that help. I’d say that is racist.

banks to pay reparations: “First, [banks] must apologize for their culpability for and complicity in structural racism. Next, they must commit to serving black people as they do whites.” Four additional steps are proposed: “Cancel consumer debt for black customers”; “Eliminate banking fees for black customers”; “Provide interest-free mortgages to black home buyers”; “Provide interest-free loans to black-owned businesses.”
Lmao

Prior to the coronavirus the U.S. economy was experiencing what President Donald Trump called a “blue-collar boom.” Minority unemployment was at the lowest levels in history. Wages for the lowest-paid workers were rising faster than wages for the highest earners. Inequality was in retreat, as economic growth created new opportunities, and the enforcement of immigration laws gave working-class Americans a chance to compete.
So forget all the other bullshite, open the economy back up fully, and continue with Trump policy 4 more years

If they want to tax the rich then they should attack the deferred aspect of capital gains. If people want the lower capital gains tax then taxes should be paid on the increased value of those investments annually just like workers do with their labor. If they want the deferred treatment then pay at the full tax rate. You can have one or the other but not both.

Why doesn’t this scare the Wall Street wing of the Democratic Party?
1. They belong to a tribe that is highly connected, intelligent and see ways to actually make billions off policies like these and know all the loopholes to protect their assets. Example: Golden West Financial
2. They are so areligious and atomonistic that leftism has become their church, and if you live in an Urban Metropolis it is necessary to blend in with the ethos of the priests of Academia and the Media. And you probably don't have children, maybe one, and will wait till you are old and comfortable to add one to your portfolio.

370 billion dollars over the next decade in comparison to the debt and spending of the federal government is laughable

When you deliberately create a false crisis you can frick right off with your ideas on what comes next. The editorial board of Carlos Slims' New York Times should just be grateful that we haven't hanged them yet.

So, wouldn't the common sense thing be to do what was working prior to the virus shutdown crap, since EVERYONE was benefiting - particularly black people?
That's how fricking insane and radically leftist the NYT is (or at least the moron who wrote this tripe). Rather than actually endorse what was working for the very people they claim to want to help, they'd rather push for marxist redistribution WHICH HAS NEVER WORKED.

Trump wasn't lying or trying to be cute. They are the "failing" NYT, and these are their death throes.

Yeah, but that was welfare. We'll call it "economic stimulus" this time and it'll work!
