It is similar to a good neighborhood going down.
At one time you had real reporters who went overseas to cover stories and as they got older they worked for a quality news organization. The papers were king.
Now any moron can start a website with less overhead and have a following larger than this so called non fake news rag.
The only thing I would need thr NYT or The Advocate for is paper to put under my cats litter box or on the floor as I paint. Now that the rolled paper to do this is cheaper at a hardware store I can use that for a lot less money.

Off the top of my head, I'd say 29-33%.
But let's say we were a small minority (for the sake of argument), say only 9%. In such a population, statistically, the NYT group of 22 would have 2 white males. Not zero.
Per my (guessed 29-33%), one should expect, statistically, 6-7 white males.
