Charlie is a good guy. When he was with ICE OPLA in NOLA he was always willing to help, and the attorneys under him were some of the better ones I’ve had to deal with. He was always super responsive, and knew the law very well.
Interested to see how it plays out with him in charge. He’s the exact type of hire I would make to lead ICE if I had to hire someone, which makes the hire here weird since Trump and I don’t typically align on our vision of how ICE should operate.
